Who to Call

If you have an emergency, please call the Sewer Utility or Water Utility before calling a plumber. An employee will check the mains and inform you of the findings. You are responsible for correcting any problem in the sewer lateral, from the connection on the sewer main, and the water service from the curb stop into the building.

Emergency Types

Emergencies are considered:

Sanitary Sewer

• Backed up sewer lines
• Line breaks
• Sewage odors
• Overflowing manholes
• Missing manhole covers

Water

• Watermain break
• No water to home
• Water entering basement
• Leaking hydrant
• Low pressure

Stormwater

• Flooding
• Clogged storm sewer/culvert/catch basin
• Missing manhole covers or catch basin grates
