Building inspection provides timely and professional inspection services for all residential and non-residential construction and alteration projects within the Village of Menomonee Falls, in order to ensure compliance with all required federal, state, and local codes, ordinances, and requirements. The building inspection performs a variety of duties to preserve the safety, property values, and overall integrity of the Village of Menomonee Falls. The department reviews applications, issues permits, and performs the following inspections:
- Compliance
- Building
- Electric
- HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning)
- Plumbing
Office Staff
The Village of Menomonee Falls employs one full time employee in the Building Inspection Division who is available to schedule inspections and assist you with other department information. To guarantee your inspection when needed, we require at least 24 hours notice.
Inspectors
The village has contracted with SAFEbuilt LLC (formerly Independent Inspections, Ltd.) since 1985 to fulfill our municipal inspection needs.
Field inspection hours are from 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Special request inspections for existing permits, outside regular business hours, require an additional fee.
