Before You Apply

The Village of Menomonee Falls follows the standards set forth in the Best Management Standards for Foundation Repair (PDF) prepared by the Wisconsin Association of Foundation Repair Professionals. Contact the building inspector with any questions you may have prior to submitting your application.

Requirements for Building Permit Application & Permit Fee

• Completed Building Permit Application
• Detailed description of the work being performed
• Engineering report (if required)
• Fees for Foundation Repair

Inspections

If excavating, two inspections are required. The building inspector must check the project prior to back filling and when the project is completed. If there is no excavation, only a final inspection is required.

The building inspector will verify that the repairs were made according to the submitted and approved specifications.
