Before You Apply

Depending on the scope of your project, electrical, plumbing, and/or hvac permits may be needed in addition to a building permit.

Kitchen, bathroom and lower level remodels/updates require a building permit. When room, window, or door sizes change or drywall is removed, a building permit must be obtained.

Requirements for Building Permit Application & Permit Fee

• Completed Building Permit Application
• 2 copies of construction plan (include floor plan and cross section)

Once all required information has been submitted, please allow 5 to 7 days to process your application. You will be contacted when the permit is completed.

Inspections

• Rough framing
• Insulation
• Final

To guarantee your inspection when needed, we require at least 24 hours notice.
