Commercial Plan Reviews

The Village of Menomonee Falls is a delegated municipality that is able to conduct commercial plan reviews of any size on behalf of the State of Wisconsin for building, HVAC, plumbing and fire plans.

Only electronic submittals are accepted at this time and must include the plans and applicable State of Wisconsin review application (SBD-118 or SBD-6154).

Electronic plan review submittals must include all required documents (Building Plan Review Requirements and Plumbing Plan Review Requirements). A plan review will not be considered complete if there is any missing required information.

Plan entry fee of $100 shall be submitted with each submittal of plans to the department in addition to the plan review and inspection fees, with the exception of structural component submittals.

To Apply For A Permit With The Village

Once your plans are approved, you can apply for your Building, Electrical, Fire, HVAC, and Plumbing permits with the Village. You can apply through the permit portal or mail in or drop off the permit application. The Village of Menomonee Falls will need one full size hard set of stamped approved plans with the Conditionally Approved stamp on them. You will be notified with the fees due for your permits and you will receive an issued permit once the fees are paid and the permit has been approved.
