Bulk Trash are items that do not fit in your cart, are over 4ft in length, or weigh over 60 lbs.
Annual Bulk Curbside Collection
Waste Management conducts a bulk trash collection for up to two (2) bulk items placed at the curbside for pickup free of charge. This will occur the first full week of May, May 5th-9th, 2025. Residents looking to utilize this service MUST notify Waste Management between April 14th and May 2nd about items for pick-up. 
Items must:
- Be placed curbside for collection by Monday, May 5th at 6:00 am. Items may be picked up any day during the week.
- Be able to be loaded by two (2) people.
- Not include yard waste, tire, or electronics. See the list of acceptable bulk trash items.

Annual Bulk Trash Drop-off Event
Waste Management also conducts an annual bulk trash drop-off event occurring the first Saturday of October (for 2025 this will be October 4th), from 8:00 am to noon at the Waste Management Hauling Facility (N96W13073 County Line Rd). This one-time drop-off event will be free for residents.
- Residents will need to show proof of residency by providing an ID and/or a utility bill.
- Residents will be limited to four (4) bulk items per Village residential address.
- This Annual Bulk Item Drop-off Event will be at no additional charge to the resident.
Acceptable items include general household bulk items excluding yard waste, tires, and electronics. Please view acceptable bulk items or call Waste Management at (262)-251-4000 for a list of acceptable items.
Other Bulk Trash Collection
Bulk trash for pick-up, not falling within the special bulk trash collection week, must be scheduled with Waste Management seven days in advance and residents will be billed at a rate of $25. To schedule a bulk trash pick-up, residents are asked to contact Waste Management directly at least seven days before your normal garbage collection day at (888)-960-0008 or visit the Waste Management Bulk Pickup website.
Bulk trash pick-up does not include yard waste, tires or electronics (TV’s, computers, etc.). Some bulk items do include:
- Furniture
- Household Furnishings
- Mattresses & Box Springs
- Grills (No Propane Bottles)
- Carpeting – Rolls that are no longer than 4 feet in length and 2 feet in diameter
