Community Outreach and Fundraisers

Community Outreach

In recent years, Neighborhood Watch has greatly expanded its outreach to the community. The group participates in the Optimist's Club annual fishing derby, the Village's Independence Day Parade, and the Menomonee Falls Police Department / Menomonee Falls Fire Department Falls Safety Fair. They also hold a silent auction, picnic, and attend a Milwaukee Brewers game. The past couple of years, Neighborhood Watch has awarded their "Falls Youth Award" to over 40 area youths who were recognized by Block Captains as having done something exceptional in being a good neighbor.

Fundraisers

Neighborhood Watch holds several fundraisers. Monies raised have gone to help the Menomonee Falls Police Department purchase a Taser, patrol bicycles, motorcycles, bullet proof vests, gym equipment for the officers, along with helping fund the Menomonee Falls Police Department DARE program. The group has also donated to the Waukesha County CrimeStoppers, and the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department K9 program.
