The Crime Victim Compensation Program may be available to help pay for non-reimbursed expenses resulting from a crime, even if there is no arrest or conviction. Property loss or damage is generally not recovered through this program.
To be eligible, a victim must not have caused or contributed to the crime, and must cooperate with the law enforcement in the investigations and prosecution of the crime. Other restrictions and requirements exist.

The court may order an offender to pay for the cost of damage or loss of an Affidavit for Restitution form is filed by the victim.
