FIRE EXTINGUISHER CHECKS
The Menomonee Falls Fire Department will conduct free annual fire extinguisher inspections for homeowners and business owners in Menomonee Falls.

Why: According to the fire code, any fire extinguisher within a business must be inspected once a year.
We will inspect a maximum of two extinguishers per homeowner/business.
Although annual inspections are not required for homeowners, it is recommended by the Menomonee Falls Fire Department. If it is determined that the extinguisher needs maintenance, testing or recharging, the extinguisher must be taken to a company that services fire extinguishers.
If your extinguisher is older than six years, or the needle is outside of the green range, it needs to be replaced.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER DISPOSAL
The Menomonee Falls Fire Department offers free fire extinguisher disposal at Station 99 on Lilly Road. You can place your old extinguishers in the recycling container located in the main entryway.
