Responsibilities
Establish operational priorities and direct the overall activities of the Department Assist the Director of Protective Services/Chief of Police with executive management decisions relating to:
- Budget
- Discipline
- Licensing issues and enforcement policies
- Long-range planning
- Overall operation of the Department
- Policies and procedures
- Records management
- Training
In the absence of Chief of Police, act as the Chief of Police
