Lieutenants

Responsibilities

There are three Lieutenants, two of which are assigned to the Patrol Bureau:

• Two Lieutenants are assigned to Day, Early and Night Patrol operations which covers all 3 patrol shifts: Days, Early and Late as well as the Patrol Support Unit.
• The third Lieutenant is assigned as the Special Investigations Bureau (SIB) Commander, which includes Detectives and Juvenile Officers charged with the responsibility of investigating the most complex and serious cases.
