Become an Election Inspector

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Election Inspector for the Village of Menomonee Falls. 

Please view the Election Inspector Job Description before applying. If after review of the job description you are interested in applying, the below steps show you the process to becoming an Election Inspector in the Village of Menomonee Falls. 

• Step 1: Apply Online

  • The job description and application are available on the Village of Menomonee Falls Career Pages. Please allow time for Clerk Services to review and process your application.

• Step 2: Complete the Onboarding Process

  • Once hired, an onboarding email will be sent with next steps for onboarding. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder.

• Step 3: Sign-Up & Complete Trainings

  • After the onboarding is complete, and processed, an email will be sent from cs@menomonee-falls.org with training requirements and a link to sign up for classes. Before being eligible to work at an election, basic training must be completed. There are also additional training requirements that must be met each year. Please note that most trainings occur during the week in the morning.

• Step 4: Work an Election! 

  • Approximately a month before an election, you will receive an email asking your availability. If available, you may be scheduled. If scheduled, you will receive another email asking you to confirm your work assignment. Please note if scheduled you will work the entire Election Day (6:30 a.m. until approximately 9 p.m. or later).
