Joe Pulvermacher
Fire Chief

Chief Joe Pulvermacher joined the MFFD in February, 2024. He previously served as the Fire Chief for the City of Fitchburg in Dane County. He also served the City of Oak Creek in Milwaukee County. He established his fire career as a volunteer firefighter with the Village of Butler. Chief Pulvermacher holds a Masters degree in Security Services from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, a Bachelors degree in Fire Service Management from Southern Illinois University and an Associates degree in Fire Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He is also a licensed Paramedic with the State of Wisconsin.
Kevin Rokenbrodt
Assistant Chief-Operations

Assistant Chief Rokenbrodt joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in 1999. Promoted to Lieutenant in 2010, Battalion Chief in 2013 and Deputy Chief in 2021. Primary duty is to oversee the day-to-day operations of all field-assigned personnel in the fire stations, in a high-level leadership capacity. Secondary duties include identifying operational efficiencies, developing and implementing operational policies for fire suppression and emergency preparedness.
Assistant Chief Rokenbrodt holds a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership from Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa, a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety and Health/Fire Science from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach, Alabama and an Associates degree in Fire Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He is also a certified Executive Fire Officer through the FEMA and the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland and is a credentialed Chief Fire Officer through the Center for Public Safety Excellence.

Don Umhoefer
Deputy Chief-Admin/Prevention

Deputy Chief Umhoefer joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in December of 1981. Promoted to Lieutenant in 1988, Captain in 1991, and Deputy Chief in 2001. Primary duties are to oversee the Administration Bureau, Inspection and Fire Prevention Sections. Secondary duties include budget review, payroll, record keeping and human resources.
Jessica Coon
Office Coordinator

Jessica joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in 2007 as a part-time Clerk and has been our full-time Office Coordinator since 2020. The Fire Department Office Coordinator is responsible for performing clerical and administrative functions to support the Fire Chief and other Ranking Fire Department staff as assigned.
Rae Ann Schone
Battalion Chief-EMS Service Director

Battalion Chief Schone joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department as a part-time Firefighter/Paramedic in 2009 and was hired full-time in 2015. She was named Acting-Lieutenant in 2013, was promoted to Lieutenant in 2015 and then Battalion Chief in 2021. BC Schone is our EMS Service Director.
She is a member of our Peer Support Team.
Chuck Zielke

Battalion Chief Zielke joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in 2021 as a part-time Training Officer after retiring from the City of Milwaukee Fire Department after many years of service.
Jared Klug
Battalion Chief-Green Shift

Battalion Chief Klug joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department as a part-time Firefighter/EMT in 2009 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2013, followed by Captain in 2017. He became a Paramedic in 2020 and was promoted to full-time Battalion Chief in 2021. He had previously been a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic with the Village of Caledonia Fire Department.
Brent Biedenbender

Battalion Chief Biedenbender joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department as a part-time Firefighter/EMT in 1993 and became full-time in 2003. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2017 and then Battalion Chief in 2022.
