Chief Washington joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in 2020 after retiring from the City of Milwaukee Fire Department with 28 years of service and rising to the rank of Assistant Chief. As Chief of the Department he commands, supervises, and administers the activities of the Fire Department, following Federal, State, and local government statutes, ordinances, and administrative rules. The Fire Chief reports to the Village Manager / Police and Fire Commission.
Jessica joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in 2007 as a part-time Clerk and has been our full-time Office Coordinator since 2020. The Fire Department Office Coordinator is responsible for performing clerical and administrative functions to support the Fire Chief and other Ranking Fire Department staff as assigned.
Jenni joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in 2022 as a part-time Clerk. She performs clerical duties for the Fire Inspection Bureau and is the Editor of our "Hot News" newsletter.
Deputy Chief Rokenbrodt joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in 1999. Promoted to Lieutenant in 2010, Battalion Chief in 2013 and Deputy Chief in 2021. Primary duty is to oversee the day-to-day operations of all field-assigned personnel in the fire stations, in a high-level leadership capacity. Secondary duties include identifying operational efficiencies, developing and implementing operational policies for fire suppression and emergency preparedness.

Deputy Chief Umhoefer joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in December of 1981. Promoted to Lieutenant in 1988, Captain in 1991, and Deputy Chief in 2001. Primary duties are to oversee the Administration Bureau, Inspection and Fire Prevention Sections. Secondary duties include budget review, payroll, record keeping and human resources.
Deputy Chief Boehlke started with the Menomonee Falls Fire Department as a Battalion Chief in 2018. Promoted to Deputy Chief in 2021. Primary duties are to oversee the coordination, planning, development and implementation of all departmental training (company based, professional development and recruit), including establishing attainable performance standards and evaluations. Secondary duties are supervising emergency medical service operations and for compliance with department policies, procedures and special instructions from higher medical authority.
Rae Ann Schone
Battalion Chief-EMS Service Director
Battalion Chief Schone joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department as a part-time Firefighter/Paramedic in 2009 and was hired full-time in 2015. She was named Acting-Lieutenant in 2013, was promoted to Lieutenant in 2015 and then Battalion Chief in 2021. BC Schone is our EMS Service Director.
She is a member of our Peer Support Team
Battalion Chief Zielke joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in 2021 as a part-time Training Officer after retiring from the City of Milwaukee Fire Department after many years of service.
Chaplain Knoth joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department in 2012.

Battalion Chief-Blue Shift
Battalion Chief Harthun joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department as a part-time Firefighter/Paramedic in 2017 after retiring from the City of Milwaukee Fire Department after many years of service He was promoted to Battalion Chief in 2018.
Battalion Chief-Green Shift
Battalion Chief Klug joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department as a part-time Firefighter/EMT in 2009 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2013, followed by Captain in 2017. He became a Paramedic in 2020 and was promoted to full-time Battalion Chief in 2021. He had previously been a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic with the Village of Caledonia Fire Department.
Battalion Chief-Red Shift
Battalion Chief Biedenbender joined the Menomonee Falls Fire Department as a part-time Firefighter/EMT in 1993 and became full-time in 2003. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2017 and then Battalion Chief in 2022.
The Blue, Green & Red Shift Battalion Chief's primary duty is to command and assume responsibility of all responding fire department forces operating at the scene of emergencies until relieved by a superior ranking officer. Secondary duty is to administer activities for their assigned shift. Duties include the management of shift staffing, maintenance of discipline, establishment and monitoring of battalion and department policies, coordination of training sessions, plus the maintenance of high standards of performance for personnel, equipment and quarters.
