The Village of Menomonee Falls and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) are committed to minimizing basement backups from sanitary sewers during very heavy rainstorms. There are numerous capital projects and programs specifically designed for your neighborhood and the Village as a whole.
Goal
The goal of the Private Property Infiltration and Inflow Reduction Program is to reduce the risk of basement backups by cutting down on the massive amount of excess water that enters the sanitary sewers.
Servicing
MMSD is providing funding to the 28 communities it serves, including yours, to investigate conditions and, when appropriate, make repairs to private property.
