Honor Guard

Menomonee Falls Honor Guard

The Honor Guard was established to provide both a symbolic and professional display of respect and honor for officers who die in the line-of-duty, die as active-duty officers or after their retirement from the department.

Training

Additionally, by participating in memorials, parades, and other special events, the Honor Guard provides a positive image and formal representation of the police department. The Honor Guard is trained in the following areas:

  • Flag Folding
  • Flag presentation and posting
  • Flag Raising
  • Funeral and casket detail
  • Parade marching
  • Rifle salute

Wisconsin Honor Guard Association

The MFPD Honor Guard Unit is a member of the Wisconsin Honor Guard Association.
