Explorer Post 102

Man in the Grass Opens in new windowExploring is a worksite-based program. It is part of Learning for Life's Career Education Program for young men and women. Exploring's purpose is to provide experiences that help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults. Explorers are ready to investigate the meaning of interdependence in their personal relationships and communities.

The Menomonee Falls Fire Explorer Post Number 102 was established in February of 1994. The post is open to youths between the ages of 14-18. Meetings/trainings are held every other Sunday throughout the year. Explorers will learn the many different aspects of EMS and firefighting; they will be certified in CPR and emergency first aid. After completing a 3 month probationary period explorers are able eligible to participate in the Ride Along Program and help at community events. Menomonee Falls Fire Department holds introductory meetings for new explorers several times a year. Prospective explorers must attend the meeting with a parent or legal guardian.

Please call for the schedule of the introductory meetings.
