The third Fire Station was added to the village in 1979. This building was owned by the school district and housed North Hills School.
In 2002, this facility underwent a $2.2 million renovation. A larger apparatus bay and training room were added.
Station Number 3 houses an engine and a Paramedic ambulance.
This station is staffed 24 hours a day by a Battalion Chief and two firefighters/paramedics.
Station 3 is also the headquarters of the Fire Department and houses the administrative offices.
