Operations Bureau

DeputyRokenbrodt, Kevin no hat, glasses Chief Rokenbrodt leads the Operations Bureau. Emergency calls in the Village of Menomonee Falls and Lannon Wisconsin are received and dispatched through Waukesha County Communications. Menomonee Falls Fire Department stations are then quickly alerted putting our firefighters, EMT’s and paramedics in motion. Each station is typically staffed with four personnel, who respond as needed in EMS or fire apparatus. A Battalion Chief oversees and supervises our employees on emergency calls as well as daily activities on their assigned shifts.

The Menomonee Falls Fire Department is an all-hazards department staffed by both full-time and part-time employees and operating in three platoons: Blue, Green, and Red shift. These platoons operate on a California schedule; on duty for 24 hours at a time every other day, for five days. After the five days are completed, personnel on rotation are off for 96 hours (four days).  During shift our employees respond from, live, work, eat, sleep, and train at the fire station. The decisions within their days are guided by our motto: “How Can We Help?”
