History
This area was formerly called Parkview Settling Basin and was part of the Village's wastewater treatment facility. The park has a large pond with a walking path around it, and offers an excellent viewing of wild life in a natural setting. The land for this area was donated to the Village by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stroh in 1968 for the purpose of establishing a public park. Originally it was called Parkview Lagoon. Today it is a passive park.
