Before you cook that holiday dinner, be sure the oven and stovetop are clean, free of grease, and are in good working order. Keep cooking in areas clean and free of grease and other combustibles (potholders, towels, rags, drapes and food packaging), which can easily catch on fire. "T'was the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a candle was lit, as they were all blown out.
