Menomonee Falls North Middle School Cafeteria
Join us for a fun and free local shopping experience. The middle school cafeteria will be packed with over 30 local farmers, food producers and artisans on seven select Saturdays between January and April. In addition to providing access to a large variety of local foods, we also have offer free activities for your entertainment. Stop by for a hot bite to eat, or to gather ingredients for a home cooked meal.
Children's Program Room
Head to the Library for a morning of activities, games, and fun! Choose your own adventure: STEAM activities, board games, open building, crafting, and more!
Homeschool Fridays are geared toward ages 5-12 but older and younger siblings are welcome, too. Be sure to check out the Early Literacy Play Area near the Children's Program Room for kids under 5.
Teens ages 13-18 are invited to hang out in the Library's Teen Space on the 2nd floor. They will find an assortment of board and card games, craft and creative writing prompts, gaming systems, and comfy spaces to read or work on assignments.

Meet Mrs. Mary S. Logan, wife of General and Senator John A. Logan, as she reminisces how she met and married the Illinois native. A devoted soldier’s wife, Mary Logan would be an eyewitness to one of the greatest conflagrations of American history, the Civil War. Mrs. Logan was understandably proud of her husband’s accomplishments, but after his death, she emerged from his shadow to become a prominent power in Washington.

The 1960s were troubling times for African Americans in Milwaukee. Reverend Joseph Baring will be discussing Civil Rights and the passage of the Fair Housing Act. Before being called to church ministry, Reverend Baring served as a Navy seaman in Vietnam, an ironworker, and a civil rights leader. He is currently the pastor at St. Paul AME Church in Madison.
