Join cooking show host and cookbook author Alamelu Vairavan for a tasty and educational experience! Alamelu will provide an overview of South Asian spices and legumes and give a tutorial on setting up a basic spice pantry. Through cooking demonstrations, she will inspire and motivate participants to prepare fresh, vibrant vegetable and rice dishes with flavor. Healthful Indian Flavors with Alamelu and Vegetarian Flavors with Alamelu will be available for sale. This program is graciously made possible with grant funding from UW-Madison’s Center for South Asian Studies.
