Outdoor Storytime

Bring your chairs or blankets and join Ms. Amanda and Ms. Lisbeth for storytime outside on the grassy area near the Library parking lot. Best suited for kids ages 2 – 5.

Starting Your Veteran-Owned Business

Are you a veteran, just leaving the military, or a family member of a military member? Do you want to explore the opportunity to have your own business and be your own boss? This event is for you!

Come to the Library for a panel discussion with three local veterans who started their own businesses to hear about the process, challenges, and rewards involved with starting a business. Presenters include Andy Weins of Green Up Solutions, Jonas Mack of Smoked at 225, and Patrick Yates of Fastsigns. Tammie Clendenning, Lead Economic Development Specialist for the Wisconsin District of the U.S. Small Business Association will also be in attendance to provide advice and input to future entrepreneurs. A representative from the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance as well.
