My water sample did not pass, what do I do?
Many times the sample fails because of how the sample was collected.

For example:
If the sample was taken through a hose.
If you touched the inside of the bag.
If the sample bag touched the spigot or faucet from where you collected the sample.
If you changed the flow of the water.
If you did not let the water run long enough.

It is up to the individual if you want to do another test.

If your water test fails, we automatically mail a sheet from the DNR with instructions on how to disinfect (chlorinate) the well.
