Community Room
Rescheduled from February 16:
The 1960s were troubling times for African Americans in Milwaukee. Reverend Joseph Baring will be discussing Civil Rights, the March on Milwaukee, and the passage of the Fair Housing Act.
Before being called to church ministry, Reverend Baring served as a Navy seaman in Vietnam, an ironworker, and a civil rights leader. He was the pastor at St. Paul AME Church in Madison until his retirement in 2020.
