This community park was first developed in the 1930s as a Works Progress Administration project. Due to its central location (just south of North Middle School) and variety of features, Village Park had been a popular community gathering space for decades.
In 2020, a major improvement project at Village Park included a new performance stage, multi-purpose plaza, and great lawn. A second phase of improvements at Village Park (constructed in 2022) included the accessible play area and splash pad, tennis and pickleball courts, a picnic shelter, a paved trail loop, and a new parking area.
Village Park hosts dozens of community events each year including concert series, the Menomonee Falls Farmers Market, Lavender Festival, Falls Family Movie Nights, National Night Out, the Downtown Beer Garden, and more!
