Current Development Projects
Milwaukee Tool Technology CenterConstruction is underway on a 121,635 square foot research and development building which will be located on Leatherwood Court (east of Flint Drive) in the Woodland Prime office park. This building will be part of Milwaukee Tool's growing corporate campus in Menomonee Falls.
Riverwalk Apartments Phase IIPlans have been approved for a mixed use building which includes a ground level retail space and 45 apartment units at the southwest corner of the intersection of Main Street and Church Street in downtown Menomonee Falls. The project design uses a "step back" approach for the upper level apartments to accommodate the scale of nearby buildings, and the structure will include three levels of interior parking for residents and their visitors.
Ascension Health HospitalConstruction is underway for a 32,000 square foot hospital to be located south of Main Street just east of Interstate 41/US 45. The approved plans include a licensed hospital with eight inpatient beds and eight emergency room exam beds on the first floor, and a medical office build out on the second floor.
Aquinas AcademyConstruction is moving forward on a 30,757 square foot addition to Aquinas Academy which is located on the south side of Good Hope Road west of Pilgrim Road in central Menomonee Falls. The addition will add capacity for 50 students and provide a gymnasium, chapel, library, classroom and office space.
Martin PlazaConstruction is underway on the interior and exterior renovation of an existing office building located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Pilgrim Road and Appleton Avenue. This project includes the remodeling of a 3,361 square office space.
Leonardo DRSConstruction is nearly complete on the relocation (and expansion) of US Navy contractor Leonardo DRS on the west side of Flint Drive in Woodland Prime office park. Leonardo DRS is completing a 350,000 square foot high-tech industrial building and the company will occupy an existing 120,000 square foot office building to the north of the new facility. Leonardo DRS is expected to employ an estimated 600 employees on their largest shift.
Glenroy IncorporatedConstruction is proceeding on a 121,486 square foot building addition connecting two existing Glenroy buildings near the intersection of Nor-X-Way Avenue and Megal Drive in northern Menomonee Falls. The addition will expand Glenroy’s manufacturing capacity and provide space to meet future demand for growth/ expanded product offerings.
The Hounds & TapA12,000 square foot dog daycare and bar facility is under construction at the corner of Silver Spring Drive and Technology Drive in southern Menomonee Falls. The project will include a bar where visitors can drink in the company of their dogs. There is also a planned outdoor space designed for food trucks.
Construction is underway on a 170 unit apartment development located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Town Hall Road and Custer Lane near Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital. The "Condo Style" apartment buildings in the approved plans range from four to ten units and the project includes a 4,800 square foot community center with a pool, fitness center, and other amenities.
Highlands at Aeropark
The Village has approved plans for a 224 unit senior apartment building and 32 senior town homes (in four 8 unit buildings) located on the north side of Lisbon Road to the east of Tamarind Way in southwest Menomonee Falls. A final plat was approved in 2020 for 17 single family homes along the west side of the site. Construction is currently underway on the senior town homes.
Aeropark Subdivision Addition No. 1
40 single family lots were approved for development in 2019 along the east side of Lannon Road between Silver Spring Drive and Lisbon Road in southwest Menomonee Falls. These lots range in size from 18,000 square feet to 36,360 square feet with an average lot size of 18,959 square feet. With the addition, Aeropark Subdivision now contains 59 single family lots.
Lilly Creek Highlands Subdivision V & VI22 single family lots are being developed at a site near the corner of Daylilly Drive and Northfield Drive in southeast Menomonee Falls. Lot sizes in the Lilly Creek V & VI subdivisions range from 20,015 to 26,472 square feet with an average size of 21,836 square feet.
Silver Spring Estates Subdivision VII
The Village approved a final plat in 2020 for a subdivision with 21 lots located to the east of Town Line Road and to the north of Silver Spring Drive in southwest Menomonee Falls. This is the final phase of the Silver Spring Estates Subdivision which created a total of 138 residential parcels (12 duplex and 126 single family lots) across from Hamilton High School on the former Lied’s Nursery site.
Tamarind Subdivision Addition No. 1
28 single family lots are being developed along the north side of Lisbon Road between Lannon Road and One Mile Road in southwest Menomonee Falls. The approved plat is the second phase of a larger project which will include 103 single family homes. Lot sizes in the Tamarind Addition No. 1 range from 12,055 to 27,844 square feet with an average size of 14,006 square feet. The addition is part of an overall concept that will create a total of 103 residential parcels in the Tamarind Subdivision.
Brookdale Estates Subdivision
75 single family lots are being developed at the northeast corner of the intersection of Pilgrim Road and Lisbon Road in southeast Menomonee Falls. The lots in the Brookdale Estates subdivision range in size from 10,000 square feet to 29,000 square feet with an average lot size of over 13,300 square feet.
The Village approved a Final Plat in 2020 for 21 single family lots near the intersection of Mill Road and Lilly Road in southeast Menomonee Falls. Lots for this phase of the subdivision range in size from 12,869 to 29,737 square feet with an average lot size of 18,116 square feet. When complete, the Weyerhaven subdivision will create a total of 140 single family home sites.
