2009 Rate: $10.15 per hour entry; flexible hours per week.

Description:

Traffic and crowd control; parking control and enforcement; citation issuance; service complaints; animal control; lockout/assist motorist; clerical duties; and a variety of Police Department activities.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, ability to work flexible hours including night shift, weekends and holidays; ability to stand or be on one’s feet for extended periods of time and in all types of weather; ability to lift up to 30 pounds; possess physical ability and motor skills to perform tasks including but not limited to traffic and crowd control and animal pick ups; preference will be given to applicants who have earned or are working toward a degree in Police Science or Criminal Justice. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Special Requirements:
A valid Wisconsin drivers license and a good driving record.
