The Village of Menomonee Falls is offering an exciting new Stormwater Program to improve the water quality of the Menomonee and Fox River watersheds. 

The 2010 Tree Seedling and Prairie Seed Sale is open to the public to aid our stormwater pollution prevention initiative.   Planting trees in our backyards, big properties or small, all help keep the soil in place, soak up rain water runoff and offer shade to name a few attributes. 

Tree seedlings of the same species are offered in bundles of ten for great volume prices. 
Evergreens
Evergreen species include the Balsam Fir, Black Hill Spruce, Fraser Fir, Norway Spruce, White Cedar (Arborvitae) and several more. 
Deciduous
Deciduous species include Red Oak, Paper Birch, River Birch, Red and Sugar Maple and more.
Wildlife Shrubs
American Elderberry, Plum, Dogwoods Cranberry and Nannyberry are among the several types of shrubs available. 
Variety Packages
For those who would like to have some variety of species there are two packages available:  an Urban package and Wildlife package.
Other Items Available
Tree fertilizer tablets in bags of 10 will be available. 
Rain Barrels can be ordered and picked up on May 6 and 7th as well.

Order forms will be available online by the beginning of December 2009.  Pre-order your trees for early May 2010 pick up. 

You do not need to reside in Menomonee Falls to order.   All orders are welcome.  

Please note that planting trees on public or park land needs the approval of the Park Board and the Department of Public Works. 

Any additions of tree seedling plantings to approved landscape plans do not need to be approved again.

Pick up dates are tentative for May 6th and 7th at
