The third Fire Station was added to the village in 1979.  This building was owned by the school district and housed North Hills School.

In 2002, this facility underwent a $2.2 million renovation. A larger apparatus bay and training room were added.

Today, Station 3 is the headquarters of the Fire Department and houses the administrative offices and is one of two stations staffed 24 hours a day.
