    Join us at Old Falls Village Historic Park for the 20th Annual Civil War Encampment and Battle Saturday and Sunday July 20-21. Watch for new demonstrations and speakers.

    Experience life as it was for troops and civilians during the Civil War! See an authentic Civil War Cannons being fired during the Battle at 2:00 PM both days.

    Skirmishes and training events viewable throughout the weekend. Children games area, artillery drills both days, skits, Bake Sale, Silent Auction ends Sunday at 1 PM. Enjoy cooking demonstrations, storytelling, Civil War memorabilia, food and entertainment.

    Family-friendly event. Admission. Parking is FREE. Located corner of Pilgrim Road and County Line Q Rd. Event benefits the Menomonee Falls Historical Society.

    July 25, 2019, 12:30 PM - 12:35 PM @ Union Pacific Railroad tracks that run through Menomonee Falls and cross Town Line Rd, Lannon Rd, Marcy Rd, Pilgrim Rd and Lilly Rd.

    2019 Union Pacific Steam Schedule Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad’s Completion Union Pacific’s historic Big Boy steam locomotive No. 4014 is touring the Union Pacific system throughout 2019 to commemorate the transcontinental railroad's 150th anniversary. The Steam Train will be running through Menomonee Falls on its way to the village of Butler. Enjoy viewing it safely as it tours the state and coming right through Menomonee Falls. The Big Boy’s return to the rails is the product of more than two years of meticulous restoration work by the Union Pacific Steam Team. No. 4014 is the world's only operating Big Boy locomotive. Running times and scheduled stops are subject to change. See their webpage. Join the Union Pacific Steam Club to be notified of major schedule updates.
