New Voting Location for Village Voters!
Effective with the September 9th election and all future elections, the following polling place locations have changed:
-Wards 5, 6 and 13 formerly voted at the Community Center but will now be voting at the
Menomonee Falls Public Library, W156N8436 Pilgrim Road.

-Wards 23 & 29 who formerly voted at the Schwabenhof will now be voting at Pilgrim
Evangelical Lutheran School, W156N5429 Bette Drive.

-Wards 27 & 28 who formerly voted at Marcy School will now be voting at Davian's Banquet & Conference Center, N56W16300 Silver Spring Drive.

All registered voters affected by this change will receive a mailing informing them of the move. Any further questions, please contact the Clerk’s Office at 532-4213.

Pocket Peelers Now Available!
The Menomonee Falls Police Association is selling Pocket Peelers to benefit the Criminal Justice/Fire Science scholarship fund. The discount coupons can be used in Waukesha, Milwaukee, Washington, and Ozaukee Counties.
The proceeds from the sale will be used to provide scholarships to Menomonee Falls High School seniors who enroll in a Criminal Justice or Fire Science Program at a two or four year college.

The booklets are on sale for $10.00 each and may be purchased at the Police Department’s business office, M - F 8:00 am to 8 pm.

Summer Heat Traffic Enforcement Program
The Menomonee Falls Police Department will be participating in a traffic enforcement program sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to combat speed and aggressive driving on US Highway 41. The program, which is named "SUMMER HEAT", will involve Menomonee Falls officers, along with 20 other agencies, who will be stepping up enforcement on US 41 through aggressive and high visibility patrol beginning on May 1st, and running through September 30th.
Summer Heat will promote adherence to speed and traffic laws by the public through voluntary compliance with the law. If voluntary compliance fails, then officers are prepared to ticket speeders and other violators.

Main Street Reconstruction and Resurfacing
From Waukesha Avenue (In Sussex) to Good Hope Road. From: Good Hope Road To: Elder Lane - Begin Construction May 12, 2008
The Canadian National Railroad crossing on STH74 in Sussex will be closing on Monday, July 21st at 7:00 a.m. The crossing will remain closed for two weeks until the new RR signals and track rail are installed. Detour route will be CTH V South to Silver Spring. Trains will be held for 6 hours during work on the crossing and then afterward long traffic delays will occur at the Silver Spring crossing.
