Who We Are
Exploring is a worksite-based program. It is part of Learning for Life's career education program for young men and women. Exploring's purpose is to provide experiences that help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults. Explorers are ready to investigate the meaning of interdependence in their personal relationships and communities.

The Menomonee Falls Fire Explorer Post #102 was established in February of 1994. The Post is open to Youth between the ages for 14 - 18. Meetings/Trainings are held 1 Thursday night per month; 1 Sunday afternoon per month, and one optional Tuesday night. Explorers will learn the many different aspects of EMS and firefighting; they will be certified in CPR and Emergency First Aid. After completing a 3 month probationary period Explorers are able eligible to participate in the Ride Along program and help at Community Events. Menomonee Falls Fire Department holds introductory meetings for new Explorers several times a year. Prospective Explorer must attend the meeting with a parent or legal guardian.
