Maple Road Park is 20 acres of undeveloped park land located on the northwest side of the Village.
It is located east of Maple Rd & south of County Line Rd in a developing residential area. This land was donated to the Village by the Kiwanis Club in 1984.
This passive undeveloped area is the Village's largest and highest quality urban green space. It is 1100 acres of officially mapped wetland; 600 acres are owned by the Village.
It is located west of Pilgrim Rd and north and south of Good Hope Rd. The only development in the Preserve is a partially completed perimeter trail system. The vegetation consists of trees, shrubs and ground covers native to a tamarack wetland community. Due to the lack of formal park improvements and the need to protect this unique plant community, the undeveloped area within the Tamarack Preserve is not open to public use.
Tower Hill Park
Tower Hill is 22 acres of undeveloped area that is not open to public use. The land is located off of Mill Rd east of Lannon Rd and is one of the highest points in the Village
with service buildings and communication antennas.
